Description
THIS IS MARKET RESEARCH/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SEEKING INFORMATION ONLY. The General Services Administration (GSA), is seeking SBA 8(a) responses in order to determine SBA 8(a) interest in the following acquisition. The GSA WPMHA Contracting Team, Washington, DC, intends to Emergency Generator Maintenance and Repair Services for a basic and four one-year option periods (five years total). Requirement is to maintain, troubleshoot, replace, and repair various types of generators located at three (3) buildings located in downtown Washington, DC. Task may include, but are not limited to, inspect and change oil filters, inspect entire system for fuel and oil leaks, inspect for water and coolant leaks on entire system, including wear and tear of hoses and top off coolant, if necessary; verify all coolant lines are in good operating condition; test coolant to ensure the proper water and antifreeze mix and add if needed test and verify that the block heaters are in good operating condition; check all batteries and cells to verify the are in good working condition and replace or service as required; inspect battery charger and ensure that the system is working properly; verify the generators electrical charging system is working as designed; inspect all belts for wear and ensure they are all adjusted to the manufacturer's specifications; inspect the fan and radiator for any abnormal wear; clean air filters as required and replace annually with OEM parts per manufacturer's specifications; wipe down generators and remove carbon, dust and grease; check AC and DC brushes for proper settings and wear; verify and test the proper working condition of the safety shut down features; verify and adjust the following if needed, voltage, frequency, governor and fuel delivery system; check that all operating gauges and warning and alarm lights are working properly; check and adjust the exercise clock or that the BAS system starts the generator for exercise; verify that the ATS is in full operating working order and that all major components are inspected to include, proper phase protection, start relays, proper line voltage on both normal and emergency power sides; document and log all levels and readings; wipe down the inside and the exterior of the ATS; drain and replace engine oil; replace all fuel filters; replace water filters; and perform post-maintenance testing. NOTE: All maintenance and/or repair must be performed by a OEM certified technicians.
