Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Solicitation number M67001-12-Q-0014 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611420, Computer Training and the small business size standard is $7.0 Million. Pursuant to FAR 22.1006(a), this acquisition shall comply with the Service Contract Act of 1965. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. MCIEast, Contracting Department, Camp Lejeune Office intends to procure Customized Contractor support Information Technology and Assurance training. This requirement is critical to ensure Marines physically separated in a tactical or garrison environment, and from different units, are able to effectively work through technical processes established and defined by a common and authoritative syllabus. Please see the attachment on the solicitation notice for details. All responsible sources may submit a quote which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. It is the intent of the Government to issue one award. All questions for this solicitation must be submitted by 15 November 2011 at 11:00 AM (EST) and shall only be accepted via email. Submit questions to email michael.t.curley@usmc.mil. A modification/amendment to the solicitation will be issued by 15 November 2011 at 11:00 AM (EST) answering all the submitted questions. All quotes must be received by 8 December 2011 at 4:00 PM (EST). Late quotes will be not be considered. Only e-mail or fax submittals will be accepted. Vendors must ensure that the subject line of the email contains the solicitation number for identification purposes. Fax and mail submittals will not be accepted. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted quote has been received and are legible. Submit quotes to email michael.t.curley@usmc.mil or fax 910-451-2193.
