Description

NAVAL AIR STATION KINGSVILLE (NASK) FRESH WATER UTILITY THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, intends to award a follow-on contract to N62467-84-C-1853 on a single source basis to the City of Kingsville under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and 40 U.S.C. 113(e)(3) which authorizes the Department of Defense to acquire utility services for military facilities. This contract is for fresh water commodity service in support of NASK located in Kingsville, TX. Contractor shall furnish, and the Government shall purchase and receive fresh water service as requested by the Government from the contractor. Interested fresh water providers may identify their interest and ability to meet the requirements stated herein and may submit their authority to provide service in the form of a tariff or ordinance. Submission must include providers valid Cage Code. FAR 52.214-34 applies. The associated NAICS code with this procurement is 221310 “ Water Treatment and Distribution. Small Business size standard is $7.0M. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Responses to this posting must be submitted to Robert Garske in PDF format no later than 30 November 2011.
