Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command plans to issue a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) for the development and qualification of a product to satisfy the High Altitude Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Weapon Capability (HAAWC) Air Launch Accessory requirements within the next two weeks. In order to allow for an expedited release of the technical data associated with this procurement, it is recommended that interested contractors take the following action now: The Government will provide, upon request, access to an electronic library for unclassified HAAWC technical documentation and hard-copy classified HAAWC technical documentation for those responders that are cleared to receive and store SECRET level of classified data. The Government does not warrant the content and performance of the design data contained therein. In order to receive the technical information, a qualified potential respondent must provide evidence that the respondent is qualified to receive and handle data marked with Distribution Statement D and classified information up to the SECRET level. In order to gain access to the unclassified data and to receive the classified component through postal mail companies/individuals must complete the attached NDA and return to Mr. Walter (T.J.) Vanderbeek at walter.vanderbeek@navy.mil and Mr. Graham Irby at graham.irby@navy.mil. Confirmation of receipt will be sent via email to point of contact listed for each request. Please send the attached form to the address listed below: Department of Navy Naval Sea Systems Command Attn: Walter (T.J.) Vanderbeek, PMS404E1 1333 Isaac Hull Avenue SE Washington Navy Yard DC 20376 E-mail transmittal of scanned forms is acceptable, and should be e-mailed to Walter (T.J.) Vanderbeek, walter.vanderbeek@navy.mil and Mr. Graham Irby, graham.irby@navy.mil. Requests shall specifically include Respondents Name, Address and Zip Code, CAGE Code and Cognizant Security Office (Name Address and Zip Code ) as well as the actual performance location including: Address and Zip Code, CAGE Code and Cognizant Security Office, Address and Zip Code. Classified documents will be forwarded only after Government review of the respondent's authorized security level. Access to classified information shall only be for the duration of the RFP including Government evaluation of the RFP responses. Instructions on how to access the online repository of unclassified data are located in a HAAWC Modification Notice from 11 August 2011.
