Description

Contractor shall completely prepare site for renovations to upgrade the HVAC in the medical file room located in the sub-basement of building #2 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Furnishing supervision, equipment, labor and materials to perform work as detailed in drawings and specifications. Work will include selective demolition, rough and finish carpentry, thermal and moisture protection (minor). Doors and windows, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical (HVAC) including new air handler, electric and communications, involving necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. The project will be completed in 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed being issued. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System is 236220. The Government's estimate is between $1,000,000 - $2,000,000. The tentative issue date for the solicitation package to be downloaded is November 23, 2011 and the tentative bid opening will be December 23, 2011 @10:30am in Room A901a in the main building. All bid packages must be delivered to Loretta Devore prior to bid opening. This procurement is 100% set aside for SDVOSB; all contractors must be registered in the CCR (www.ccr.gov) and VETBIZ (www.vetbiz.gov) verified in order to be awarded this project.
