(W912EP-11-D-0012); DD-M Crane & Rigging (W912EP-11-D-0013); Southwind Construction Corp. (W912EP-11-D-0014); Paul Howard Construction Company, Inc. (W912EP-11-D-0015); Coastal Dredging Company, Inc. (W912EP-11-D-0016); Florida Dredge and Dock, LLC (W912EP-11-D-0017); Barnett Southern Corporation (W912EP-11-D-0018); 4-H Construction Corporation (W912EP-11-D-0019); Goodloe Marine, Inc (W912EP-11-D-0020); Caldwell Marine International and Palm Beach Marine Construction, JV (W912EP-11-D-0021); Integrated Pro Services, LLC (W912EP-11-D-0022); ENCO Dredging (W912EP-11-D-0023); Inland Marine Services, LLC (W912EP-11-D-0024); and Vortex Marine Construction, Inc. (W912EP-11-D-0025). PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED FIRMS. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project work consists of dredging shoal material from Cut-A (HB), Cut-C (HB) and Alafia River Channel. The Base consists of dredging approximately 320,000 cubic yards of material from Cut-A (HB), Cut-C (HB) and Alafia River Channel and placing dredged material onto CMDA-2D which is located north of Alafia River Channel. The placement area at CMDA-2D is approximately 2.5 miles from Cut-A (HB), approximately 0.5 miles from Cut-C (HB) and approximately 1.25 miles from Alafia River Channel. The dredging depths for Cut-A (HB) and Cut-C (HB) are 43 feet required plus 2 feet allowable overdepth. The dredging depths for Alafia River Channel are 33 feet plus 1 foot allowable overdepth from Station 0+00 to Station 156+00 and 34 feet plus 1 foot allowable overdepth from Station 156+00 to Station 181+13.22. Site Dewatering shall take place at CMDA-2D disposal site during disposal operations and continue until the requirements of Section 35 20 23 have been met. The Base also includes Endangered Species Observer and Turbidity Monitoring. Option A consists of dredging approximately 67,000 cubic yards of material from Cut-C (HB) from Station 130+00 to Station 141+00 with placement in D/A-2D located approximately 1.25 miles from dredging site, from Station 207+00 to Station 279+00 (range 425 to range 500) with placement in D/A-2D located approximately 0.5 mile from dredging site and Station 288+00 to Station 306+00 with placement in D/A-2D located approximately 1.0 mile from dredging. The dredging depths for Cut-C (HB) are 43 feet required plus 2 feet allowable overdepth. Site Dewatering shall take place at D/A-2D disposal site during disposal operations and continue until the requirements of Section 35 20 23 have been met. Option A also includes Endangered Species Observer(s), Standby Time and Turbidity Monitoring. Option B consists of dredging approximately 68,000 cubic yards of material from Cut-C (HB) from Station 191+00 to Station 280+00 (range 0 to range 100) with placement in D/A-2D located approximately 0.5 mile from dredging. The dredging depths for Cut-C (HB) are 43 feet required plus 2 feet allowable overdepth. Site Dewatering shall take place at D/A-2D disposal site during disposal operations and continue until the requirements of Section 35 20 23 have been met. Option C also includes Endangered Species Observer(s), Standby Time and Turbidity Monitoring. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The request for proposal will be issued on 10 November 2011 and proposals will be due on 13 December 2011. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA); the technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance.
