Description

The Naval Weapons System Support (NAVSUP) and the Commander, Naval Air Forces (CNAF) and the Naval Aviation Systems Command (NAVAIR) are issuing this combination Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice for support and engineering services for the SHARP Enterprise, encompassing the CNAF Readiness Application (SHARP), the CNAF Aviation Data Warehouse (ADW) and the NAVAIR Air Combat Training System (ACTS), using the SHARP Learning Management System (LMS) application. This effort provides for system engineering, system sustainment, system integration, enterprise data integration support, sharing enterprise components and services, testing, installation, training, life cycle maintenance, procurement support, customer support, management support, certification and accreditation support and system documentation for the systems and modules that support SHARP Enterprise. The combined objective of this RFI is to gain information from industry to facilitate understanding of current industry capabilities and standards and to facilitate the NAVSUP Contracting Officer �s determination of the market base to facilitate a decision regarding acquisition strategy (set-aside, unrestricted, or limited source). This RFI provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their ideas, initiatives and /or processes and availability to fulfill the Navy requirement related to this request in the form of a capability package. See Attached RFI-Sources Sought for further details, suspense dates for responses, etc. NAVSUP will be utilizing the Ariba email box/communication tool, for vendor technical questions and receipt of submissions. Please contact Valerie.Hawthorne@navy.mil to receive access to the Ariba collaboration email tool, prior to the submission. FAR Clause 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes applies. As prescribed in 15.209(c), insert the following provision: Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997) (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although �proposal � and �offeror � are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) This solicitation is issued for the purpose of: Acquisition Planning.
