Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Bio-Rad, 2000 Alfred Nobel Drive, Hercules, CA 94547, for continued maintenance of Bio-Rad equipment located at CDC in Atlanta. The equipment is as follows: Bio Plex System, SN LX10005259303; VersaDoc 5000 PC System, SNs 591BR436 and 591BR37; SCA Chemi Doc XRS, SN 720BR2362; iCycler Thermal Cycler 96, SNs 582BR16590, 582BR16594, 582BR16545, and 582BR16542; WSA, TETRAD2 w/4 Alphas, SNs TA002061, AL096510, AL096187, AL0966421, AL109734; TA002070, AL0966159, AL096303, AL096665, AL095986; TA002455, AL106312, AL106316, AL106569, AL106608; Tetrad2 Base, SNs TA002079 and TA003159; Alpha Engine 96V, SNs AL095132, AL102358, AL06622; Mini Opticom, SN MO002206. All of these will be covered for a period not to exceed one year. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
