Description

DESCRIPTION: The VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System intends to solicit a commercial (FAR Part 12) competitive unrestrictive open market requirement for Air Balancing at the Omaha and Grand Island VA Medical Centers. This is notice of intent solicit competition to the maximum extent practicable for this service. More detailed information will be found in the solicitation document to include a detailed scope of work and price schedule. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is November 17, 2011 with a quote due by December 2, 2011. Contractor/Vendor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, any and all incidentals to complete air balancing to design specifications. Contractor is to be NEBB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau) certified. Contractor/Vendor shall supply a detailed written report making special notations of variances from design quantities. Contractor/Vendor shall ensure any holes or openings made in duct work to facilitate testing are plugged upon completion of work. All quotes received by 2:00 P.M. Central Time, December 2, 2011, will be considered by the Government.
