Description
Attachment 1 - Industry Day Quesions PPE RCM Background & Submission Information This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The United States Air Force is seeking to conduct Vendor Demonstrations pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10: Market Research. Full requirements will not be provided. No solicitation will be issued. This Sources Sought Notice is intended to provide the USAF with follow-on Market Research. Response to this Sources Sought Notice and subsequent participation in the Vendor Demonstration Day are entirely voluntary. Vendor responses and participation will not obligate the USAF to pay, or entitle the vendor to claim any direct or indirect costs, charges, or any other remuneration whatsoever. This effort involves industry submitting material samples at no-cost for the USAF to test for performance against the Requirements Correlation Matrix (RCM), Appendix A. The RCM is a draft document and additional changes may be incorporated as a result of input from the USAF and Industry. The RCM is provided to inform the vendor of the specifications the USAF is seeking to meet the requirements for qualification and production of a Firefighter Multi-Use Ensemble (FMUE) for structural and proximity fire fighting for use by USAF firefighters. See Attachment(s) for more information.
