The project design life is 40 years. SCOPE OF WORK There are multiple pieces of equipment within the steam plant that currently have single isolation valves that need to be replaced with double block and bleed (DBB) valves. The 3" and larger single isolation have class 150 flanges and the DBB valves must have the same face to face dimension as the single isolation valve to avoid piping rework. The 2" and smaller single isolation valves have either threaded or welded end connections. The 2" and smaller DBB valves will have threaded or welded connections and some piping rework will be required. The design temperature is 375°F and the design pressure 170 psig.
