Description
Clarity PPM Draft SOW FDA Program Management Office Services - CA Clarity PPM Request for Information Released November 14, 2011 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY AND YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT AN OFFER. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY ANY COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION OF ANY SUBMISSION TO THIS NOTICE, OR TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) require contractor support for project management and support services for the customization of the Clarity tool for the FDA Office of Information Management (OIM), the administration of the tool, as well as providing training services to the users of Clarity. This requirement is under the Small Business Administration's 8a program. The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to obtain feedback on the draft statement of work, availability of vendors and to determine interest in participation before a request for proposal (RFP) is released for the required services. The anticipated period of performance is a base period of one year and 4 one year option periods. For this announcement the draft statement of work is attached. Respondents are requested to review the attached draft statement of work and submit responses to the following questions: 1. Are the tasks clearly defined? Do you understand what the FDA requires? If not, what information needs to be added, changed and/or reworded? 2. Do the descriptions of the task contain sufficient detail to allow firm fixed price type proposals? Please provide the type of information that you would need in order to put together a firm fixed price type proposal. 3. Are you capable of assembling a team that can perform the work described in which the prime contractor (8a) performs at least 51% of the work (by dollar value)? Please provide a capability statement that describes your ability to this type of work. 4. General questions(s), if any relating to the SOW that need to be clarified prior to release of a RFP. Please provide the above information no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Time on December 9, 2011. Responses should be emailed to Danielle Peña at danielle.pena@fda.hhs.gov.
