Description
The attached Screening Information Request (SIR) is for the purchase and installation of a 24' X 76' Modular Office Trailer (including electrical, fire detection, local area network (LAN), phone, sewage and water) located at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ 08405. Period of Performance will be 120 days after notice to proceed is issued. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: The NAICS code anticipated for this requirement is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with the applicable size standard of $33.5M. This effort is available for full and open competition. The FAA contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract as a result of this solicitation. All potential vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry website (www.ccr.gov) for consideration of this award. Bid Bond shall be 20% of proposal, and shall be submitted with the contractor's proposal. Performance Bond is 100% and Payment Bond is 50% of contract price, and is required after notification of award. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 9:30 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Offerors are required to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. Accordingly, this site visit is mandatory to attend if you desire to submit an offer for this requirement. Confirm via email, no later than, Friday, November 25, 2011, the names of who will be attending the site visit (no more than 3 attendees) so security may be notified. Offerors are to meet at the Security Operations Center prior to that time as the group will be escorted on the base promptly at 9:30 AM. When responding to this Screening Information Request, each offeror is required to submit a written proposal in accordance with instructions provided in the Screening Information Request (SIR) Section L and evaluation criteria in Section M. All written proposals are due at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Contracts and Acquisition Group, AJA-4A3, 4th floor, Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey 08405, Attn: Colleen McLaughlin-Heasty, no later than 2:00 P.M. on Thursday December 15, 2011. All questions regarding this procurement must be submitted in writing, by email, no later than Wednesday, December 7, 2011.
