- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) NASA/GRC has a requirement to issue a brand name only solicitation for Micro Motionequipment. Purchasing these brand name items will allow interchangeability with existingequipment in the test lab resulting in no slippages in the testing schedule. The part numbers for the intended procurement are: Micro Motion coriolis Elite sensor Part number CMF400M452NRAAEZZZHT Motion coriolis MVD single variable flow transmitter Part number 1700C12ABAEZZZ Micro Motion 4 wire copper shielded cable Part number CMVDSZZ050The specifications are as follows:Flow meter to measure flow of 450 psig air at temperatures from 0 to 600 degreesFahrenheit. Flow meter shall fit into existing piping system with the following physicalcharacteristics: meter shall have 6 inch class 300 pound flanges, fit in a 43 inchlength of straight pipe and have a pressure drop less than 30 psid at a flow rate of 45pounds per second (pps). The meter shall have the following minimum accuracy when installed in a system with theabove characteristics: 0.35% of rated flow for flows above 10 pps and 1.00%of rated flow for flows from 3 to 10 pps.Max differential pressure at 45 PPS flow: 30 PSIGMax temperature: 600 degrees FMax Pressure: 720 PSI at 100 degreesFAccuracy:Min Air Flow: 0.35% of rate for flow above 10PPSMax Air Flow: 45 PPS at 300 PSIGMin air flow accuracy from 3 to 10 PPS (1.00% of flow rate)Flanges:Must have 6 300 LB Stainless Steel to install into existing pipingLength:Overall length to be less than 43 in.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-53.This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334513 and500 employees respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status forthis procurement.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to NASA Glenn Research CenterCleveland, Ohio is required within 4-6 weeks ARO.
