- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented withadditional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutesthe only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitationwill not be issued. This acquisition is being sole sourced in accordance with6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B); Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency'srequirements and only one responsible source and no other supplies orservices will satisfy agency requirements, for license renewal of authorizeduserannual software maintenance support of International Business Machine (IBM)Lotus Forms Viewer (LFV) software or any licensed distributer of LFV annualsoftware maintenance. All responsible sources may submit a capabilitystatement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.Solicitation number N65236-11-R-0127 is issued as a request for proposal(RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses arethose in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The Governmentanticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Commercial item type contract inaccordance with the procedures detailed in FAR 13.5. The applicable NAICScode is 511210 with a size standard of $25.0 million. This acquisition is forrenewal of IBM Lotus Forms Viewer Software Maintenance & Support.
