- Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Grounds (ACC-APG) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ricoh Business Solutions, Iselin, New Jersey for one Multi Functional Color and Black & White Digital Copier. The Multi Functional Color and Black & White Digital Copier shall have the following minimum functional characteristics: 100-Sheet ARDF, Duplex, 2 x 550-Sheet Paper Trays, 100-Sheet Bypass Tray, Scan/Print Kit, USB Host Interface, DOSS, HDD Encryption, Java VM Card, App2Me, PPDM (1 license), 2GB RAM, & 160GB HDD 45 PPM full color/ B &W Max copy size 11" x 17", full bleed on 12" x 18" Output onto letterhead, transparencies and special select stocks up to 12" X 18 Maximum scan size 11" x 17" Provided Fax capability Provides 2 additional paper trays 50 Sheet Stapler/Finisher Must meet DoD Common Access Card Authentication requirements (CAC V2-1 pack, Common Access Card Authentication Solution) Must meet DoD network Requirements. Contractor shall provide its standard commercial warranty One each CD ROM and one each hard copy of the operator's manual shall be delivered with each system Shipment to be made in vicinity of Lakehurst NJ, with 10 days after award. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, 'Acquisition of Commercial Items' and FAR 13.5,' Test program for certain commercial items'. Any contractor, who believes it is capable of meeting the above requirements, may submit documentation to include: Estimated Delivery date Small Business classification if applicable Any documentation shall be submitted by Friday, 18 November 2011 at 4:00 PM EST via email to Robert.n.perry10.civ@mail.mil and shall be at no cost or obligation to the Government Responses shall be in writing and shall provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to provide the above item. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information and/or materials received in response to this request for information and is in no way obligated by the information received. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this notice. Proprietary information shall NOT be submitted. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary
