- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the reference number is 12TC077. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFARS change notice 20110725. The Offeror must be an authorized dealer and must quote on an all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror, whose offer is the best value and the most advantageous to the Government which is conforming to the solicitation. Please include CAGE Code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, FOB Point, and Discount Terms. Availability and how long it will take to ship to Lackland AFB, TX 78236. Quotes must be valid through 30 Jan 2012. This is a 100 percent small business set aside. The NAICS Code is 339920 and the size standard is 500. 0001: Energy Saver® Swimming Pool Covers (see cover specs). Covers consist of blue-blk, heavy duty cord dowel pullers, and lockstitch seams. Total area covered is 9,143 sq ft. Configuration: ten (10) rectangular panels of 16' 4 ½" X 55' 9 ½" with six (6) ladder railing cutouts (see spec daigrams). Warranty Six (6) year manufacturerslimited warranty: first three (3) years full and last three (3) years pro rated ( see attached warranty sheet). Free Enegy Saver® Spa Covers with one (1) year manufacturers limited warranty - NC. EACH: 1 0002: Stainless Steel Storage Reel(s): All stainless steel 304 with manufacturer's limited lifetime structural warranty. Configuration: Three (3) sets of large capacity, triple, 18' long tube reel with five (5) equally spaced tabs (matching with five (5) grommets on all of the above quoted covers). See Storage Reel Specs. Sunguard® Cover protectors: Three (3) pieces, each size 8' X 18" - NC Complimentary item. EACH: 1 0003: Freight: LOT: 1 This is a BRAND NAME requirement (Energy Saver®). A site visit at the pool will be held 14 Nov 11 at 0900 hrs on Lackland AFB. Please send email if you are to attend. Include name, DOB, DL# and DL expiration date of attendees. There is a limit of two representatives per vendor. I must receive emails nlt 1500 hrs on 10 Nov 11. I will send you a map to get to the pool. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, Offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions.
