- DESCRIPTION This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses and Small Businesses that can provide service and maintenance of Exterior Street Lights, which includes monthly and/or possibly Bi-weekly Inspections and Repairs. The offeror shall conduct maintenance and make repairs as needed for two sites: the Department of VA Medical Centers located in Palo Alto, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA and Menlo Park VAMC at 795 Willow, Menlo Park, CA. There are approximately 235 street lights at Palo Alto and 230 at Menlo Park. The Contractor shall perform all maintenance, which shall include labor, materials, equipment to reach the lights and repair parts. Additionally, all service must comply with current Industry standards for exterior street lights maintenance. This will be a Base plus 4 Option Years contract. Base period of performance is expected to begin on/about 1 April 2012 to Mar 31, 2013. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NACIS code is 561790 and Small Business size is $7.0 million. Interested firms should send their information by email to Leala.Jew@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM Pacific Time, Dec 2, 2011.
