Description
The government proposes to acquire the following purchase request order number D12V0235D1. NOUN: ARMAMENT CONTROL UNIT ASSEMBLY for quantity of 30 each. National Stock Number: 1440-01-458-3366: Part Number: 13225434 applicable for IMPROVED BRADLEY ACQUISITION SUBSYSTEM (IBAS). Production lead time (PLT) with Government First Article Test (FAT) is 290 days, after contract award and production lead time without FAT is 100 days after contract award. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. This proposed contract action is for supplies & services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one. This item is restricted to DRS Training and Control System Cage 12339 and the RFP will only be issued to DRS Training and Control System, because the acquisition of this part is restricted to the source specified on " source control", "altered items", or "selected items" drawing or/documents. All offers must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification procedures for Missile requirements (AMCOM pamphlet 702-1) and policy relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Missile requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. Drawings, specifications or other technical data are not available and will not be furnished. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for the solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Distribution Code D - THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT. NOTE 22 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
