- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with VBOX USA 1368 Anderson Rd., Clawson, MI 48017. The contractor shall provide labor and material to accomplish on-call periodic maintenance and calibration and emergency remedial service of GPS Position/Velocity Transducers, Model # RLVB10SPS, RLVBS20SL, RLVB3SPS, Model RLVB2. The services will be performed at the contractor's facility. A Product Return Form (or equivalent) will be prepared prior to shipment of the item to the contractor for service and will be used to track the status/accomplishment of the assignment. Services will be accomplished in a timely manner, not to exceed three weeks, unless extended as agreed upon by the two representatives. The standard calibration procedure shall be as described in the technical operating manual for each item. A report/notification indicating the status of the calibration shall be provided to the government COR at the completion of the procedure. The calibration shall be traceable to the NIST. If the contractor determines that repair is necessary prior to calibration, the contractor shall perform the repair service. Service reports/invoices delineating the accomplishments and costs expended on an assignment will be supplied by the contractor at the completion of the assignment. Verification of successful completion of the service will be performed at ATC by the Technical Point of Contact or his representative. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541990 and the size standard is $7.0 Million. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 1:00 PM, Eastern Daylight Time, November 29, 2011. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
