- OPM SANG requires the installation of subterranian telecommunications cable between 1 story office villas located in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The work will include a variety of minor construction and telecommunication tasks. This work will include the installation of indoor and outdoor 50-pair copper, 6-core Multimode, 12-core Multimode, and 12-core Singlemode Fiber Optic cables to allow connectivity for voice and data networks. Install Patch Panels for 50 Pair Copper Cables and 6-core multimode, 24-core Multimode, and 24-core SingleMode LC Fiber Optics. Ensure work performed includes but is not limited to the following: installation of underground pipes, conduits, manholes, Telephone Distribution Cabinet (TDC), outdoor Building Entrance Terminal (BET) cabinets, copper, and fiber optic cables/Lightguide Interface Unit and SC connectors, copper cable terminal blocks along the roads and walkways; full restoration of ground structure to include all vegetation, plants, and walkway tiles upon completion of work, civil works as required, outdoor installations, cable splicing, testing, and acceptance. Trench and install, 2 x 4" (110mm) PVC Conduits in between manholes and 2 x 2" (50mm) PVC conduits in between manholes and the individual buildings to be able to run copper and fiber optic cables. The minimum size of trench is 60cm wide and 80cm deep. After cable installation, the Contractor shall test all copper cables for continuity from one end with the Ohm Meter before the cables are terminated. The Contractor shall conduct end-to-end testing of all cable pairs and resistance/continuity, balance, and unbalance; and insulation testing from both ends with the Ohm Meter after the cables are terminated. After cable installation, the Contractor shall test all fiber optic cables for integrity, from end-to-end, with Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) or Power Level Meter after the cables are terminated.
