- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone intends to issue a twelve month extension to contract W58RGZ-07-D-0078 which expires 31 December 2011. This Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type Contract with Honeywell Corporation, Engines and Systems Division, Phoenix, AZ (CAGES: 99193, 59364, 64547, 70210, 06848) for the acquisition of various T55 Engine series and APACHE spare parts designated as sole source. FOB Point for all orders placed will be Origin. Period of performance will be 1 January 2012 thru 31 Dec 2012. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have adequate specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Army Contracting Command intends to establish a 12 month extension to an IDIQ type contract, for the acquisition of various T55 Engine and APACHE spare parts are set forth below.
