Description

The Albany VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract with Time Warner Cable, Inc, 20 Century Hill Drive, Latham, NY 12110 under the authority of FAR 6302-1 (a)(2)(ii). The requirement is for the continuation of cable television services and maintenance of the existing 265 connections already installed at the Albany VA Medical center. Time Warner has familiarity and prior experience with Albany VA Medical Center ™s infrastructure, cable paths and cabling requirements. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 515210, Cable and other Subscription Programming with a size standard of $15M. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitations will be issued. However, parties may express their interest and capabilities in writing only, and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror ™s ability to meet the required service and emailed to Les.Lecceardone@va.gov no later than by 10:00 on November 23, 2011. No telephone responses will be accepted. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VA Contracting Specialist.
