- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 633d Contracting Squadron is seeking information on potential firms qualified to provide quotes on a future solicitation. The proposed award will be a firm fixed-price for a Facility Rental for 3 day Holiday Concert for the USAF Heritage of America Band. The NAICS code for this procurement is 531120. Any information submitted is voluntary. Request interested firms submit (1) the NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER of the firm (including CAGE code); (2) a summary of their product, (3) their SIZE STATUS. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 a.m., EST, on 21-Nov-2011 to be considered. Please reference the following SOW. STATEMENT OF WORK: - General. The contractor's quote should include the cost for renting the concert hall, equipment for the stage; parking and staff labor for a performance each night on 1, 2 and 3 December 2011 (total of three (3) nights). - Proximity to Langley AFB of no more than 10 miles [This is an event designed/used as outreach to the local community in and around Langley AFB ] - Concert Hall Specifications: The concert hall will have the following specifications to accommodate the size of the ensemble, the band's equipment and a large audience. - Seating: Audience seating capacity will be at minimum 1600 seats and maximum 2000 seats. - Loading Dock: A loading dock will be available on stage level, with doors at least 10'- 0" wide x 11' 6" high with roll up doors. - Stage Area: The stage should have at least the following dimensions: Stage Dimensions 41' - 8" deep X 103'-10" width Unobstructed Stage Width 93' - 0" Wing Space Stage Left: 14'-0"; Stage Right: 14'-0" - Dressing room requirements Separate dressing room for the commander and deputy commander Dressing rooms large enough to accommodate 12-15 female enlisted members Dressing rooms large enough to accommodate 30-35 male enlisted members [High School classrooms are not suitable substitutes for dressing rooms due to the lack of clothing racks to hang band performance uniforms on and lack of restroom facilities] - Equipment: The hall will provide an orchestral shell, 45 concert chairs, 50 music stands, risers, lighting, spot lights, speakers, furniture, video projectors and decorations for the three performances. - Parking: The hall will provide a parking area to accommodate audience members and band members for each of the three days. - Staff Labor: The hall will provide technical directors, audio technicians, lighting directors, follow spot operators, video technicians, stage hands, stage managers, house managers, security and custodial crew as needed for the three performances. - Required hall usage times: The band will need access to the hall from 8:00 am-11:00pm on 1 Dec; 5:00pm-10:00pm on 2 Dec; and 5:00pm-10:00pm on 3 Dec.
