- This announcement is a notice of intent to extend an existing contract on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Space & Mission Systems, 12900 Federal Systems Park Dr., Fairfax, VA 22033, for range operations at Fort Hood, Texas. The proposed contract action will extend the performance period of the contract W91151-10-C-0104 for a base period of three months with three, one month options under FAR 52.217-8, under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2). Estimated dollar value of this action is $5,251,299. Firms are requested to submit any questions/concerns regarding this non-competitive extension directly to the contract specialist at mary.chamberlin@us.army.mil, no later than 19 Nov 2011 at 1400 central time. Questions submitted by other methods will not be evaluated. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561210. There is no associated small business size standard.
