- The US Army Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center (TARDEC) National Automotive Center (NAC) is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for developing and implementing probabilistic analysis methods focused towards analyzing and mitigating the risk of injury to warfighters. Specifically, TARDEC is seeking sources capable of developing and validating a high fidelity finite element model of human anatomical structures. The intent of the market survey is to gather information to assess the potential for TARDEC/NAC to obtain a complete human element model that will successfully be used to help assess human and vehicle safety for ground combat vehicles. The data gathered in the market survey will help define and influence the trade space and requirements of a possible follow-on Request for Proposal (RFP) for human modeling and development.
