- The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command-New Jersey, Joint Armaments Center,Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Analysis & Evaluation Technology Division within the Munitions Engineering Technology Center is conducting market research to locate companies interested in entering into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Government. Interested sources should be capable of providing a Digimat Software Package that can be utilized to extend the functionality of modeling advanced materials, i.e. carbon fiber and glass fiber filled matrices, and energetic materials. The Digimat software package must include Digimat MF, FE, MX, MAP, Digimat to CAE/Injection Molding and Digimat to CAE/Structural FEA applications and be fully compatible and functional with ABAQUS FEA software suites. The contractor shall grant the Digimat software package license along with service and maintenance support for 12 months. The license type shall be Floating/LAN Platform: Intel X86/OS: Windows 64b. The contractor shall provide thirty two (32) tokens for the use of running the software package in parallel with the FEA code ABAQUS. Companies are invited to indicate their interests and capabilities by providing brochures, and any information pertaining to their ability to provide maintenance, enhancement and support, the ability to provide improvements and updates to the software package and customer assistance for each Digimat software package. All information is to be submitted via email at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity, large or small and a copy of the most recent ORCA certifications and representations. Please provide the name of the company, address, POC, phone/fax number and email address. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email only. Interested companies are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualifications information no LATER than 23 November 2011. This is a Sources Sought/ Market Survey Announcement and submission of information will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ). In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this notice. However, in accordance with FAR 19.501 our intent is to establish BPAs with small businesses.
