Description: SYNOPSIS FOR NON-METALLIC BEARING STAVES DLA Maritime “ Puget Sound is issuing a solicitation and subsequently a Firm Fixed Price Contract for bearing staves in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF, Bremerton, WA 98314. Requirements: CLIN 0001: BEARING STAVE, Non-Metallic Black Rubber Faced Stave, 61 inch +/- 1/16 inch long, MIL-DTL-17901C, Oversize Stave Thickness - Increase backing material thickness by 1/16 inch, Final Stave thickness (0.902 inches), Maintain standard rubber thickness. CLIN 0002: BEARING STAVE, Non-Metallic Black Rubber Faced Stave, 61 inch +/- 1/16 inch long, MIL-DTL-17901C, Undersize Stave Thickness - Decrease backing material thickness by 1/16 inch, Final Stave thickness (0.795 inches), Maintain standard rubber thickness. CLIN 0003: BEARING STAVE, Non-Metallic Black Rubber Faced Stave, 61 inch +/- 1/16 inch long, MIL-DTL-17901C, Standard Stave Thickness (0.857 inches). Specifications: See attached specifications. Delivery: F.O.B Destination The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 326291 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside and only qualified quoters may submit quotes. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Prospective quoters are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the quoter to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. The solicitation shall be posted on or about 18 November 2011 with a response date of on or about 19 November 2011. The buyer will NOT provide a hard copy of the Solicitation package. Quoter must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them.
