- Description
- 1.Does the c have any mammography machines that require inspection by an appropriately qualified person? No, but if we did purchase they would be included as stated. It would include mammography. 2.Does the contractor need to provide radiation badges to the VAMC-Martinsburg as part of this contract, and, if so, how many and types of badges are required and what is the exchange frequency? Yes, 82 now, but will include all additions/subtractions. 3. How many hours onsite weekly or monthly? Monthly-at least 5-8 hours for RSO. HP-would be here 3-6 hours/month. Of course this is not in stone, it may require more depending upon the tasks needed to complete. 4.What is the current level of ACR involvement (i.e., is this facility already ACR accredited or is the successful contractor responsible for helping develop ACR accreditation)? We are not ACR Accredited. We are planning on doing so within the next 1-2 years. The contractor would have a big part in getting us there. So, equipment would be done with ACR guidelines. Currently, it is not. 5.Can we get a list of radiologic equipment requiring calibration and annual compliance testing? (i.e. how many dental equipment, MRI, CT, ultrasound, diagnostic, etc.)? 1 MRI, 2 CT's (64 slice/16 slice), 3 general X-ray units, 2 fluro rooms, 4 US machines, 1 NM hybrid camera with 4 slice CT (non-diagnostic), 1 Cysto room, 2 C-Arms, 2 mini C-arms, 4 portable machines, 8 dental units, 3 hand held detectors, and any other new piece of x-ray equipment that would be purchased in the future. 6.1. Badges: Please verify that the RFQ does not require the provision of the badges themselves, but only for the review of reports and audits. The badges would be provided by the vendor. 7.Under the "ROOM BODY PART" Section, an MRI unit is listed but MRI is not listed on the inventory list. Do you have MRI that you need tested? If so, how many and what other information would we need to know regarding such? MRI test is required annually. HP would provide Phantom for QC. Annual acceptance testing required. When ACR done ¦then annual ACR testing would be required.
