Description

SUBJECT: Notice of intent to sole source The Department of Veterans Affairs VAILLIANA HCS, Danville IL is contemplating negotiating a small business sole source contract under authority of 41 USC 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements," with CONSERVE INC.9855 Croinpoint Blvd STE 106, Indianapolis, IN 46256-3336. CONSERVE is the only source with the specific knowledge of the current and proposed system architecture. Richard Roudebush Medical center has many controls which monitor direct patient care. The complex system is of a critical nature it is essential that CONSERV be a sole source contractor which works on the building automation controlling and monitoring for critical patient care areas which is also critical documentation for all joint commission requirements. CONSERVE is solely and uniquely qualified to complete this project which is directly related to patient care. The Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 238210 with a business size standard of $14.0 million. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is forthcoming. This notice in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.
