- DUE: December 2, 2011 SET ASIDE: N/A NAICS: 561720 POP STATE: New York PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Vet Centers located at Trenton & Ewing, NJ AGENCY: Bronx VA Medical Center, 130 W. Kingsbridge R., Bronx, VA 10468 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: Sources Sought only. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Seeking Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), 8-A, Hub Zone, Small Disadvantaged, Woman Owned Small Businesses or other small or large businesses to procure cleaning services for a Veteran Center located at 934 Parkway Ave., Suite 201, Ewing, NJ 08618. Contractor will provide janitorial services for the building suite that consists of 1 waiting room; 9 offices; two large group/meeting rooms, three bathrooms: (1) bathroom consists of three stalls, three sinks, a counter, and a trash can. (2) Bathroom consists of three stalls, two urinals, three sinks, and a trash can. (3) Bathroom consist of a handicapped toilet with bar and one sink. There are two hallways that require cleaning. Vendor shall provide cleaning services on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during normal duty hours 8:30AM-430PM. If a holiday falls on said day the contractor will provide the service the following workday during normal duty hours. Vendor shall empty all trash cans; wipe down and sanitize each trash can, place a new plastic liners. Trash cans shall be emptied of all rubbish in the trash receptacle located outside behind the building. Vendor shall clean (sanitize) bathrooms including all sinks, toilets, counters and wet mop the floor with a germicide product. Vendor shall fill all empty toilet paper rolls along with hand paper towel containers. Various carpet areas shall be vacuumed daily and carpets shall be steamed cleaned every six months. On a daily basis vendor shall dust all desks, window ledges, furniture, spot clean desktops, around doors and light switches. Vendor shall wet mop the kitchen floor with a germicide product, clean counters and window ledges. Vendor may leave his/her cleaning equipment in the mop closet; however, the Vet Center is not liable for any breakage or theft of material left in the closet. All mops must be cleaned, rinsed and buckets need to be emptied and dried prior to storing them. The mop closet shall be maintained in a neat and sanitary condition. Trash can(s) shall not be left in the mop closet or any other place in the Vet Center. Vendor shall provide his/her transportation, all labor, supervision, cleaning sanitation supplies, mops, buckets, brooms, cleaning rags, vacuum machine, steam cleaner and any other supplies/equipment deemed necessary to complete various cleaning tasks at the Vet Center. Routine and periodic inspections will be performed under this contract by the COTR in accordance with existing VA policy and this contract. Vendor will be furnished with an inspection report listing any and all cleaning deficiencies for which the vendor is responsible to clean repair within one day (1) day. The contractor shall notify the COTR in writing, that the deficiencies have been corrected and that a re-inspection can be made. Under no circumstances will the contractor allow reported deficiencies to go uncorrected beyond one day period.
