Description
VETERANS AFFAIRS WANTS TO LEASE SPACE THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONTAINS REVISED INFORMATION PERTAINING TO PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED LEASE REQUIREMENT. INTERESTED PARTIES WHO SUBMITTED PROPERTIES FOR CONSIDERATION ARE NOT REQUIRED TO RESUBMIT. The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield 9,000 TO 10,000 net usable square feet in Victoria, Texas for clinical use. The space must be continuous on no more than one (1) floor and can be provided by new construction or modification of existing space. On-site parking for 46 vehicles is required. A lease for up to 10 years will be considered. Occupancy is required no later than May 31, 2012. Properties within the city limits of Victoria, TX will be considered. A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by the VA. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should contact Sally Lanoue by telephone, mail or email no later than 4:30 CST, December 2, 2011, at the following address: South Texas Veterans Health Care System (10N17/671C) Attn: Sally Lanoue 7400 Merton Minter Blvd. San Antonio, Texas 78229 210-694-6307 E-mail: sally.lanoue@va.gov Interested offerors should include the following information: "Name of building and Address "Rentable Square feet available and rate per rentable square feet(rate must be inclusive of all utilities and services) "Contact information of Owner or Authorized Agent Net usable square feet does not include such areas as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules and public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. The Department of Veterans Affairs is limited by law (40 U.S.C. 278a as amended by 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for space. Please note: This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals. A solicitation for offers may be issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs at a later date. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT THE VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT.
