Description
Pressure Switch; oil sensing unit for T56 Engine; AMC/AMSC code 3B.This is a sole source acquisition from Unison Industries, Cage Code 83311. Suitable technical data, government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part nor use of a second source part in the intended application. NSN: 5930-00-965-7111 OJ. OEM Code: 63005. PN: 6827995. Unison PN: CG12313 Description: Pressure switch for oil sensing unit for T56 engine. Dimensions are approximately 2 inches by 3 inches by 2 inches, weight 64 ounces. Material is metal-strength heat resistant. Quantity: Total Quantity - 60 each; 12 each for foreign military sales, 48 each for U.S. Navy. Destination: 12 each to FMS, 48 each to U.S. Navy SW3122 Jacksonville FL. Delivery Schedule: Requested on or before 30 DEC 2011. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Based upon market research, the Government WILL USE policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. The anticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of this notice.
