- The Fayetteville VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC is seeking the services of a qualified and certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business who has proven experience in hospital facility construction and renovations to complete the project "Renovate Endoscope Cleaning Room" at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to renovate the existing endoscopy room: demolition of wall between spaces; removal of bathroom fixtures and accessories, door and frame; relocate medivators, filters for medivators, cabinet and hand sink; rework ceiling; repair drywall; install new negative air fan, stainless steel work table and double bowl stainless steel sink; repair/replace wall and floor tile; correct plumbing to accommodate new room layout; paint; remove all waste and clean up. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220 with a small business size standard of $33,500,000.00. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Any specifications will be uploaded in the solicitation itself. A single pre-bid/walk-through will be announced in the solicitation. A bid opening will be on or about 1/6/2012 (tentative date). These dates are all estimates. The actual dates will be stated in the solicitation. The point of contact (POC) for this upcoming solicitation is Jerri Shaw, VISN6 Contracting Officer. Inquiries from CVE-certified SDVOSB firms only may direct their questions to jerri.shaw@va.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted. The cut-off date for inquiries to the Contracting Officer is prior to noon on 12/5/2011. This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only. A solicitation will be issued on or about 12/7/2011. Issuance of solicitation and contract award is subject to funds availability.
