Description
This is a sole source acquisition from General Electric; thegovernment does not own sufficient, accurate, or legible data topurchase this item from other sources. Only New Manufactured Materialwill be solicited for this acquisition. Supervisory Control Unit for F110-100/-129B Engine; AMC code 5R. NSN: 2995-01-540-4818 PR.OEM Code: 07482. PN: 2123M24P06.Description: Supervisory Control Unit controls all variable engineparameters. Dimensions are approximately 16 inches by 13 inches by 6.5inches, weight is 35 lbs. Material is dip-brazed aluminum.Quantity: Best Estimated Quantity of 114 each with range MIN 25/MAX 150for shipment to USAF; 35 each for shipment to FMS.Destination: SW3211, Tinker AFB OK and FMS destination.Delivery Schedule: 20 each per month beginning on or before 30 APR 2014for shipment to USAF and 35 each on or before 31 JUL 2014 for shipmentto FMS.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, orquotation which shall be considered by the agency.One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to WorldTrade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free TradeAgreements.An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interestedparties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8241. DO NOT CALLTHIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS.Based upon market research, the Government is not using policiescontained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interestedparties may identify to the contracting officer their interest andcapability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercialitem within 15 days of this notice.Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request forWritten Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxedrequests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. Theanticipated award date will be more than 120 days after the issuance ofthis notice.
