- Description
- The Date that the Solicitation is Due is being extended to 12/21/2011. Otherwise, everything else remains the same. This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements contract. This requirement is for the procurement of Servicing Platforms. NSN: 4940-01-089-0129; PN: A-A-60004-III. Basic qty: 5ea (Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ)); Option I qty: 5ea (BEQ); Option II qty: 5ea (BEQ); Option III qty: 5ea (BEQ). Destination: TBD. Delivery schedule: 60 Calendar Days ARO Notice from Contracting Officer. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 17 October 2011 with an approximate response date of 21 November 2011. All responsible sources may submit a Proposal. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit as Full and Open competition. Technical data is available for this acquisition and is added to this solicitation as attachments. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as stated in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer and/or PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror(s) may contact Ombudsman Kim McDonald at 478-222-1088.
