- Description
- This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source award to, EMS Aviation, 400 Maple Grove Road, Ottawa, ON K2V 1B8, Canada to provide Switch Broad Band upgrades to three (3) existing HSD-400 SATCOM terminals to increase throughput capacity for the United States Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The units will be shipped to the vendor and upon completion of work, the units will be returned to the point of origin on Fort Bragg. Additional terminals will be upgraded in the future as the need arises. This notice is not a request for offers. The anticipated date of award is 8 December 2011. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Responses to this notice will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical and pricing information. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses are due no later than 7 December 2011 at 1:00 p.m. EST. No extensions will be granted. Only electronic submission will be accepted. Interested vendors may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to Valaida J. Bradford at bradforv@soc.mil.
