- Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Advanced Sterilization Products in the amount of $99, 913.24 for a base + 2 option years for annual maintenance and service on the STERRAD Sterilization System located at Basset Army Community Hospital, FT Wainwright, AK. This maintenance and repair service is for three each STERRAD (r) NX systems and one each STERRAD (r) 100S system which includes two preventive maintenance checks a year and unscheduled repairs for the government owned analyzers. Advanced Sterilization Products has proprietary rights in the software and replacement parts of the Government Owned STERRAD NX, and STERRAD 100S which are currently being used at Bassett Army Community Hospital. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent Ms. Kendre Green, kendre.green@us.army.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
