Description
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-10-G-0004 to Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), Bethpage, NY for the Disposition, Preservation, Packing, Shipping and Storage of Excess E-2 Special Tooling and Special Test Equipment. Anticipated Award Date will be 29 June 2012. The proposed contract action will be for a one (1) year base period plus three (3) 1-year option periods. The period of performance for the supplies/services to be furnished hereunder shall be twenty-four (24) months from the date of contract award for the base year and the three (3) 1-year option periods. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Northrop Grumman is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience and technical expertise to provide the required supplies and services. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
