- The Digital Modular Radio is a four-channel, software programmabletactical radio (with embedded INFOSEC)providing interoperable Line ofSight/Beyond Line of Slight (LOS/BLOS)C4I capabilities to the fleet(HF/VHF/UHF). PEO C4I intends toimplement the UHF SATCOMIntegrated Waveform (IW) phase 1capability in the Digital Modular Radio(DMR). The IW is defined in the latestversion of UHF SATCOM MilitaryStandards 188-181C/182B/183B.
