- Description
- The Library of Congress has awarded a sole source contract to Day Design, Inc. for the ALA Annual Conference exhibit booth set-up and dismantle. This requirement is for the Library Services Division, 101 Independence Ave., SE, Washington, DC 20540. The proposed contract action is for services in which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quote. No solicitation will be issued as a result of this notice. Additionally, no award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. The Library of Congress displays an exhibit booth for the ALA Mid-Winter Conference, as well as the ALA Annual Conference. Day Design, Inc. has provided the service of booth maintenance and management over the past several years and provided storage for the exhibit booth when not on display. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to meet this requirement by 10am EST, 25 November 2011.
