Description

Special Notice This is not a request for proposal nor a request for quote. There is no solicitation documentation available. Under F.A.R Part 6.302-1 this is a notice of intent. The Tennessee Valley Health Care System Veterans Administration Medical Centers located at Murfreesboro, TN and Nashville, TN intend to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract with Scriptpro USA Inc, located at 5828 Reeds Rd, Mission KS 66202 under the authority of F.A.R 6.302-1. A Limited Source Justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The requirement are as follows: Contractor shall provide all parts, service manuals, tools or software required to successfully complete scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance on the Scriptpro equipment at the above locations, for a period of 12 months. The equipment consists of the following : SP Central Platform 200 - 2 Each SP Central Expanded Server - 2 Each SP Station - 26 Each SP Checkpoint - 4 Each Electronic Signature Device - 4 Each Notice Board - 2 Each Virus Protection Platform - 2 Each The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is 41 U.S.C. 253(b)(c). Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates an ability to meet the agency's needs. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than December 6, 2011 @ 12:00 PM CST. Offers submitted past the appointed time shall be considered a no bid. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide services required, and shall be provided at no cost to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation, indicating an offeror's ability to meet the required services. Email response to Paul.Keller@va.gov. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Emails are not to exceed 5MB. Prospective offerors shall complete electronic annual representations and certification at http://orca.bpn.gov and shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award of a contract.
