- The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, First Nano, a division of CVD Equipment Corporation, 1860 Smithtown Ave, Ronkonkoma, NY, 11779. First Nano is the only manufacturer of a MOCVD System for YBCO superconductor growth and deposition with the industry-standard liquid metal organic precursor delivery sub-system and the appropriate control software required to operate the liquid metal organic precursor delivery sub-system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
