Description

The Salisbury VA Medical Center has a need for a fluid management pump for use during arthroscopic surgery. The fluid management pump is needed to work with a shaver to remove soft tissue in the joint space, help expand and extend the joint, and assist the surgeon's visualization which is often clouded by bleeding in the surgical field. The Salisbury VAMC would like to procure the arthroscopic fluid management pump through a 36 month contract agreement which provides a discounted/diminished tier cost for the pump and an agreement to purchase a minimum quantity of accompanying disposables. Anticipated disposables to be purchased are irrigation and intermediary tube sets that perform with the fluid management pump. The pump purchase agreement shall include pump components at no additional charge: foot pedal, arthroscopy equipment cart, interface cable, and high flow sheath kit.
