Description
The 374th Contracting Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan is performing a market survey for a Post Acquisition Improvement Program (PAIP) Contract to Improve Military Family Housing, Phase 7 at Yokota Air Base, Japan. This announcement constitutes a market survey that is being conducted for planning purposes only and is aimed towards the retrieval of information to be used by the Government but does not constitute a commitment by the Government for the award of a Contract. Work will consist of, but not limited to, providing all labor, materials, transportation and performing all work necessary for improvements to Family Housing, consisting of 201 Military Family Housing (MFH) units in 69 buildings. The MFH includes portions of the South Area Neighborhood, North Area Neighborhood, and the West Area Neighborhood at Yokota Air Force Base, Tokyo, Japan. This project will be either Construction Only or Design-Build. The project type will be determined and stipulated in the solicitation. The magnitude of this project is expected between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000, in accordance with DFARS 236.204(ii), which means the Government Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. Possible site visits will be scheduled between May and June 2012 and more details will be determined. The anticipated award date is 30 September 2012.
