Description
THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE AWARDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SIMPLIFIEDACQUISITION FAR PART 13.THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD THIS REQUIREMENT FOR THEFOLLOWING ITEMS BELOW AND ON THE ATTACHMENT. ALL AUTHORIZEDDISTRIBUTORS MAY SUBMIT A QUOTE. ONLY QUOTES FOR THESE ITEMS WILLBE EVALUATED.AWARD WILL BE MADE ON AN ALL OR NOTHING BASIS!!!QUESTIONS MAY BE DIRECTED VIA E-MAIL TO PATRICE.RICHARDSON-S@NAVY.MIL. CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALLVENDORS DOING BUSINESS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE.INFORMATION MAY BE FOUND AT HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV.EMAIL SUBMISSION IS ACCEPTABLE!!! The accessory bag contains the guy wires with reels (8 total per kit) shown onpic 008, mechanical winch and crank handle (see pic 021), baseplate (pic 067),hammer, and stakes for securing and elevating the EX-128 series telescopingmast. One accessory bag is used for each mast. The weight of the accessorybag is approximately 68lbs. The order is for (5) accessory bags. The extension tube is a tan, aluminum tube (approximately 2' long) with50mm ID on the mast end and 50mm OD on the antenna end. It containstwo, retained threaded knobs for securing it to the mast top and thusextending the mast 2'. The order is for (5) extension tubes. The precisedimensions of the extension tube allow for a secure fit of the antenna to themast and preserve the full weight capacity of the mast.Two extension tubes areused to elevate the smaller antenna on the right in pic 009. Pic 026 shows thetwo tubes individually.
