- The following is the justificaton for sole source procurement. This publication serves as a notice of intent for the 355th Contracting Squadron in Tucson, AZ to issue a sole source procurement with CDO Technologies, INC, for the procurement of the following services to update existing Material Asset Management Application, as provided by CDO Technologies: 0001 - 60 HR - Program Manager 0002 - 316 HR - Software Engineer 0003 - 88 HR - RFID Technician 0004 - 30 HR - Configuration Manager 0005 - 60 HR - Quality Assurance 0006 - 40 HR - Technical Writer 0007 - 40 HR - Technical Editor 0008 - 80 HR - Testor These services are believed to be sole source because market research has indicated that the particular system in use is proprietary to CDO Technologies, INC (see attached justification) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, under authority of FAR 5.207(15)(ii), firms that believe they can provide the services that fully meet the Governments requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within seven days after publication of this synopsis. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
