- The Government intends to hold an Industry Day in the Washington D.C. area on the morning of 13 December 2011. The Government's presentation at the Industry Day will start at 0800 and will end at 0845. The industry day would be to obtain feedback and measure interest and capabilities from private industry for the Mission Support Contract at the Fort Washington Facility. The attached Statement of Work details the different types of Support Services that will be required. Please keep in mind that the SOW is a draft document and that the Government will be looking to recieve feedback on it's contents. This effort is still in the Market Research phase of the acquisition. Originally a NAICS Code of 561110 was contemplated. After further discussions with our Small Business Representatives it has been determined that a more appropriate NAICS code would be 561210 - Facilities Support Services. This contract will require the contractor to have the ability to hire employees with Top Secret/SCI, Top Secret, and Secret Clearances. To register for Industry Day attendance please contact Ms. Janice Feurtado at Janice.Feurtado@us.af.mil. Each interested party will be limited to no more than two attendees each. When registering please provide your company name and the number of attendees. Immediately following the Government's presentation we will hold one-on-one meetings with individual contractors. There will be twelve one-on-one meetings available. Available one-on-one meeting start times include 0900, 0920, 0940, 1000, 1020, 1040, 1100, 1120, 1140, 1300, 1320, and 1340. All questions asked during these meetings and subsequent answers will be posted to this advertizement following the Industry Day. The Mission Support Contract will be a follow-on to Contract #FA8240-07-F-0100. Early Government estimates are for a 5-year contract valued at $20M to $30M. All other questions regarding estimated dollar value, period of performance, incumbent contractor, NAICS code selection, Small Business Set-Aside ect. will be answered at the Industry Day. This advertizement will be updated as more specific information regarding a place become available.
