- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice for the identification of potential contractors to provide all necessary labor, material, equipment, trucks and tools necessary to pump, clean, and jet sludge from the two (2) grease traps, one (1) manhole and jet clean sewer lines located at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (JBVAMC). All debris shall be properly removed and disposed of by the Contractor off the VA premises. Services shall be performed by a licensed and experienced Contractor for this type of service. Services shall be performed on a monthly basis after normal working hours. With the exception of the grease traps, other services may be completed between the hours of 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Grease traps cleaning will be completed between the hours of 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm in order not to interrupt the operations of the facility. December 2011, through September 30, 2016. The solicitation package may be available on or about December 7, 2011. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification relative to NAICS code 562998. Consistent with the VA's Veterans First Contracting Program, VA is particularly interested in identifying Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and/or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses with the capability to perform. All interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), list of available products, the geographical location the respondent is able to service, and a list of the respondent's establishment's certifications from private, State and/or local agencies documenting their safety and sanitary conditions and procedures. Responses to this notice should be sent via US mail to the attention of Antonio Reyes, Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (69D), 115 South 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214 or email to antonio.reyes@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 18:00 PM CST, Tuesday, December 6, 2011. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses should also indicate whether the company is verified by the VA in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database at www.vetbiz.gov.
