- Solicitation The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Solid Waste Removal for the Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute, IN. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed prices. The contract shall consist of a base year from the Effective Date of Award through September 30, 2012 and four 12-month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated contract requirement for the base year is three (3) 33 Cubic Yard Self Contained Trash Compactors with an estimated 78 to 117 pulls each; two (2) 8 Cubic Yard Containers with an estimated 40 pulls each; one (1) 30 Cubic Yard Open Top Container with an estimated 15 pulls; and one (1) one (1) 20 Cubic Yard Open Top Container with an estimated 15 pulls. The solicitation will be available on or about November 29, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 5, 2012. The solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 562111 with a size standard of $12.5 million. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible companies may submit a quote.
